Jaguar F-Type
The Jaguar F-Type had 3 audio system options. Base audio (180w 8 speaker), Meridian (380w 10 speaker), Meridian surround (770w 12 speaker). Interestingly we didn't find a single meridian badge, label or sticker on any speakers or amplifiers and all 3 audio options have exactly the same part numbers for the tweeter, mid range and mid bass in the doors.
The good news is that all the audio systems feature a 3 way speaker set up in the front doors, which is good from an upgrade point of view as we MUCH prefer a 3 ways system to a 2 way system. All cars also have 'active' wiring going into the doors as well, meaning we can independently EQ and time align each speaker.

Pre 2017 cars ran on a MOST25 fibre optic network, and post 2017 cars use Ethernet to transfer signal from the head unit to the amp. We can connect to either of these signal paths, decode the OEM feed and send a nice clean digital signal into our new DSP amp.

We have found these cars respond particularly well to improved sound deadening, better speakers and a more powerful amplifier and with our own EQ and time alignment tuning, they can sound amazing.
